Dr. Chesterton is a criminologist who is interested in the intersection between law and society. Her research focuses on state repression, examining how and why governments repress social movements. Additionally, she has long-standing interest in capital punishment, juvenile justice, and legal philosophy.
Hannah Chesterton completed her Ph.D. in Justice, Law, and Criminology at American University. She also has a criminal justice master's degree from North Carolina Central University and a law degree from the University of Birmingham, England.
