Dr. Chesterton is a criminologist whose research focuses on state repression, examining the relationship between government and social movement, and violent extremism. Additionally, she has a long-standing interest in juvenile justice, reentry, and punishment philosophies.
Hannah Chesterton completed her Ph.D. in Justice, Law, and Criminology at American University. She also has a criminal justice master's degree from North Carolina Central University and a law degree from the University of Birmingham, England.
