  • Hannah Chesterton is a third-year doctoral student at American University. Her interests currently focus on government-sanctioned killing around the world, particularly the death penalty system in the U.S. and the use of drone strikes on the global stage.  Additionally, she has longstanding interest in juvenile justice as it relates to radicalization and sentencing, and legal philosophy.  She has a criminal justice master's degree from North Carolina Central University and a law degree from the University of Birmingham, England.
