Sociology students can access a number of diverse fields after graduation. Some of the fields CUA alumni have entered include public policy, research, and law.

Sociology provides students with skills in analysis, research, and writing that are becoming more and more sought in the professional world. The ability to analyze and interpret data is enhanced by sociology study. To study sociology is to investigate critical questions about the workings of the social world – from the environments of the individual and the family, through the organization of schools, work places and churches, to the ways in which global social problems impact our societies.
